Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced PowerSports & Marine Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of supply chain and procurement processes, and a passion for powersports and marine products. This role involves managing inventory, sourcing parts, coordinating with vendors, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The manager will play a vital role in maintaining seamless parts operations, optimizing procurement strategies, and supporting sales initiatives through effective inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the powersports and marine parts department, including inventory control and order fulfillment
  • Works in collaboration with Service and Sales Department to optimize sales opportunities and profitability
  • Delivers quality services to consumer inquiries daily
  • Seeks wholesale opportunities outside of retail
  • Oversee purchasing activities, sourcing parts from vendors, and negotiating pricing to maximize profitability
  • Maintain accurate data entry within ERP systems, CMMS, and other software platforms to track inventory levels, sales, and procurement activities
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Develop demand planning strategies to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal fluctuations
  • Supervise warehouse activities including forklift operation and stock organization
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with parts selection, technical inquiries, and warranty issues
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams when necessary for sourcing specialized or hard-to-find components
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in procurement, inventory management, and order processing.
  • Participates in forecasting annually, monthly and weekly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse operations such as forklift safety and equipment handlingQualifications
  • Proven dealership experience in powersports or marine industry preferred
  • Ability to lead a team, motivate and inspire. Has a winning mindset
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to powersports and marine equipment
  • Experience with Lightspeed DMS systems is preferred or similar DMS
  • Excellent negotiation skills for vendor sourcing and procurement negotiations
  • Ability to manage purchasing processes effectively while maintaining budget controls
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to powersports and marine products is highly desirable
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment preferred
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
