This is a fast-paced dealership environment suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and motivated by performance.

As Finance & Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the finance and protection process while supporting both the customer experience and the dealership’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and process all documentation required for vehicle deliveries, funding, registrations, financing, and leasing
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, manufacturer finance centres, and third-party providers
  • Stay current on manufacturer programs, rebates, incentives, leasing, financing, and lender requirements
  • Ensure all deals are completed in full compliance with OMVIC, lender requirements, privacy standards, and applicable regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times
  • Communicate clearly with customers, sales staff, management, lenders, and other departments to keep deliveries moving smoothly
  • Handle customer questions or concerns professionally and with a focus on positive outcomes
  • Support the sales team by providing guidance on finance options, approvals, documentation, and delivery requirements
  • Contribute to dealership profitability through ethical, customer-focused presentation of F&I products

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, lender approvals, credit applications, and F&I product presentation
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
  • Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with contracts, payments, rates, high-value transactions, and legal documents
  • The ability to explain financial products clearly and professionally
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deals at once
  • Comfort using dealership software, lender portals, email, spreadsheets, and other business technology
  • A professional, team-first attitude and the ability to work well with sales, accounting, management, and delivery teams
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada

Experience That Would Be an Asset

The following experience would be helpful, but is not required:

  • Experience with Honda or another OEM-branded dealership
  • Experience, DealerTrack, CDK, or similar dealership systems
  • Experience with First Canadian, Sym-Tech, SAL or other F&I product providers
  • Previous automotive sales experience
  • Strong existing relationships with automotive lenders
