Full job description

Scarsview Motors Ltd. is a well-established automotive dealership in Scarborough, Ontario, representing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department and support our Service and Sales operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department, maintaining proper inventory levels, maximizing parts sales and gross profit, and ensuring excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that parts sales targets are met. Coordinate parts marketing efforts
  • Maintain tight inventory control to ensure consistent delivery of parts while minimizing obsolescence
  • Balance inventory to meet requirements of the Service Department, wholesale accounts and over the counter sales
  • Understand and comply with all manufacturers’ warranty ordering and return policies.
  • Forecast and track monthly sales and profit objectives. Compile and analyze monthly management reports
  • Responsible for profitability of Department by revenue generation and cost control
  • Keep up to date by completing all training within manufacturer’s prescribed guidelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 year experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager.
  • Technologically savvy with PC-based software, and strong proficiency in Dealer Management systems
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to achieve results
  • Able to work as part of a results-oriented and customer-focused team
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, technical & mechanical repairs, product
  • Valid Driver’s License

Salary plus bonus and group benefits.
