Full job description

canadian elite renovation is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Bathtub Reglazing Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring and refinishing bathtubs, showers, sinks, tile surrounds, and other bathroom surfaces to like-new condition. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining professional customer service.

We are willing to train motivated individuals with a background in painting, automotive refinishing, construction, or related trades.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare bathtubs, showers, sinks, and tiles for refinishing.
  • Clean, sand, etch, and repair damaged surfaces.
  • Apply primers, bonding agents, and refinishing coatings using professional spray equipment.
  • Repair chips, cracks, scratches, and surface imperfections.
  • Mask and protect surrounding areas before spraying.
  • Ensure proper ventilation and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Maintain tools, spray equipment, and company vehicle.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions regarding care and maintenance.
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Keep accurate records of completed work and materials used.
  • Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout the GTA.

Experience & Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in bathtub reglazing, refinishing, resurfacing, or restoration.
  • Automotive painting or body shop experience.
  • Spray painting or industrial coating experience.
  • Residential renovation or construction experience.
  • General handyman skills.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable using respirators, spray equipment, and power tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Assets

  • Experience with HVLP spray systems.
  • Experience with epoxy, urethane, or refinishing coatings.
  • Knowledge of bathroom renovation and repair techniques.
