Job details

  • Full time – Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Weekends off.
  • Full Benefits after 90 days including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work under the general supervision of the Branch Coordinator.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate with the team about job progress, issues, or missing parts
  • Construct and Assemble: shelving, ladder racks, safety partitions, etc;
  • Plan and Install Van equipment including wall liners, flooring, shelving, cabinets, safety partitions, ladder racks, etc.
  • Plan and Install Truck equipment including flat decks, Spacekap service bodies, Hydraulic lift gates, headache racks, Service Bodies and Toolboxes, Canopies, etc.
  • Plan and Perform vehicle plumbing, fuel system tie-ins, coolant system tie-ins, hydraulic system tie-ins, compressed air system tie-ins.
  • Plan and Perform vehicle and equipment wiring, DC automotive primary systems, AC and/or DC auxiliary systems.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations.
  • Assure efficient use of materials, facilities, and time.
  • Keep shop area clean and tidy;
  • Pick up and deliver vehicles when necessary;
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude is required;
  • Driver’s License is required.
  • Sheet metal experience is considered an asset;
  • Forklift license is considered an asset.
  • Welding Experience is an asset
  • 12V knowledge is an asset
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team first attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
