Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The technician will utilize a wide range of tools and technical knowledge to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Stellantis training with phase 3 and phev training
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, electrical system troubleshooting, and system schematics interpretation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs
  • Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting and machinery operation to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

  • Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership experience preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical components and HVAC systems
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures for automotive
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with various mechanical systems efficiently

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
