Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 4th Year Apprentice and or Licensed Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
  • Assist with heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment during service operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must have own Tools
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform complex repairs.
  • Experience with welding techniques is an asset but not required
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as required for automotive repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
