Sales Assistant (Growth Opportunity to Sales Consultant)

Location: Northland Ford

Position Overview:
Northland Ford is looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Assistant to support our sales team and dealership operations. This is an entry-level position designed for someone eager to learn the automotive business and grow into a Sales Consultant role over time. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, and willing to take initiative wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with day-to-day operations and customer support
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and presentation-ready
  • Coordinate and assist with vehicle deliveries to customers
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the lot and showroom
  • Shuttle customers and staff as required (valid driver’s license required)
  • Fuel and move vehicles as needed
  • Support inventory management, including checking in new vehicles
  • Run errands and provide general assistance across departments
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the dealership

Preferred (but not required):

  • Previous customer service
  • Interest in pursuing a career in automotive sales
