Summary

We’re looking for a Technical Salesperson to drive new business opportunities and expand our market presence. This position requires someone who thrives in technical sales, while still being hands-on with customers and performing office duties.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and engage potential clients within the construction and industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Track sales metrics and prepare reports for management.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven B2B experience in outside sales within the industrial automation or related fields.
  • Work experience in the construction or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and convey their benefits clearly.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Zoho CRM.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Business fluency in Spanish and/or French would be an asset.
  • Able to to travel to client sites and industry events throughout Canada and the USA (estimated frequency: 12 times per year)
