Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and excellent customer service skills. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. Your mechanical knowledge will play a crucial role in the success of our body shop.

Duties

  • Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs, including parts and labor
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and answer any questions
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and estimates
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, dealership practices, and automotive repair techniques

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive environment and estimator position
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical knowledge
