Are you an experienced educator who's interested in private tutoring? Earn $30-55 per hour tutoring after school hours in your area of Toronto or the GTA.

We are currently hiring in-home tutors across Toronto and the GTA for K-12 Language, Math, Sciences, French, and Autism & Special Education, including:

  • Toronto
  • Markham
  • Mississauga
  • Brampton
  • Vaughan
  • Richmond Hill
  • Aurora
  • Newmarket

As an in-home tutor, you will travel to your students within a 5km radius of your home. A vehicle is required if you are located outside the City of Toronto.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Canadian teaching or tutoring experience
  • Your own vehicle (exception: downtown Toronto)
  • Currently located in Toronto or one of the cities listed above
  • Availability on most weeknights after 5:00 pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an in-home tutor you will travel to local students' homes and provide individualized instructions and support in one-on-one settings. You must be confident with planning independently and sourcing your own materials.

Working with us is similar to being a private tutor but we take the hard work out of finding you local students, vetting clients, collecting payments, and providing customer service, so you can focus on helping your students thrive.

  • You are a classroom teacher, occasional teacher, or teacher candidate
  • You have ASD or Special Needs experience or training (EA, ABA, SLP, CDA, etc.)
  • You have ECE or Montessori experience or training
  • You have extensive professional or private tutoring experience

YOU SHOULD NOT APPLY IF:

  • You do not wish to travel to students' homes
  • You do not have your own vehicle (exception: downtown Toronto)
  • You are not presently located in Toronto or one of the cities listed above
  • You do not have 5+ years of Canadian work experience
