AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT AUTISTIC AND/OR NEURODIVERGENT CHILDREN!

Position: Experienced Preschool Age Interventionist

Location: Burnaby/New Westminster, BC

Company: Daybreak Education and Communication Consulting Inc.

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30-5:30, with potential for increase in hours, if qualified and desired. Please do not apply if you are not available for these hours or do not have direct experience working with autistic children one on one.

Responsibilities: The Experienced Interventionist will deliver individual and small group therapy programs to autistic children under 6 years of age at our facility in Burnaby. On site support and training are available.

Qualifications: Experience as an Education Assistant, ECE, Interventionist, teacher or direct experience with young children is preferred. Superior spoken and written English language skills are required.

The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative, work independently and as part of an integrated team, including Behaviour Consultants, SLPs and OTs. You will be both organized and fun, know how to PLAY, and be passionately committed to true inclusion for EVERY child.

Required: Experience with data collection, strong references and a clear criminal record check are required.

Wage: Excellent wage range, depending on qualifications and experience. Applicants who require training will receive a training wage until they begin the duties of the role.
