Full job description

Due to exciting company growth, we are looking for a reliable experienced Audio / Theatre Installer to join our team. Leading Edge Entertainment is well established in the industry, providing home audio video, theatre, automation, and security system services throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. We pride ourselves on being masters at designing and installing high quality, appealing, functional systems. We are a fun, casual crew that enjoy our workdays.

Ideally, you possess the following attributes and experience:

- a strong work ethic and time management skills
- the ability to self-manage, prioritize workflow and keep in close communication with team
- experience with residential installations of audio visual (AV), lighting, security and control, network and cinema systems
- experience with rack-building and dressing cables
- experience with low-voltage cables types including, but not limited to category, 6/6A coaxial and fibre
- experience with power tools (drills, multi-cutters etc)
- knowledge of practical installation techniques including RJ45 termination, soldering and crimping

Bonus points if you have programming experience (Control4, Lutron, Savant) IP/LAN networking and WiFi knowledge Acoustic and sound engineering experience for room calibration (DIRAC), but this is not necessary.
