Spotlight Automation is a lower mainland-based AV/Low-Voltage contractor, with a specialty in home automation. We have years of expertise in the trade. Which allows us to exceed our customer's expectations.

We take pride in building long term relationships with our clients. Our team specializes in residential & commercial service, installation, and maintenance.

We are currently looking for a motivated individual that is capable of working with others and eager to learn. Previous construction experience is beneficial.

If you can take instruction and perform tasks efficiently, work in a team environment, demonstrate trade and code knowledge, able to troubleshoot and solve problems, then this job is for you!

We are a well-established company that mainly specializes in high-end residential homes, new construction and renovations, small commercial projects, and service calls throughout the lower mainland.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform audio visual system installation for our clients, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment, rack setup, video displays, cameras, projection systems, media rooms, audio systems and control systems
  • Perform cable pulls, crimp and terminate audio and video cables
  • Assist with structural installation of displays, screens, and projectors
  • Troubleshooting issues and final testing of the systems being installed
  • On-the-job training and development for new or less experienced AV Technicians
  • Most jobs include automation systems like Control4, Savant, Crestron
  • All other duties as assigned/required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
