Studio Of Legends is one of Toronto’s fastest-growing recording studio and media brands, operating professional recording facilities, a record label, artist development programs, content production, podcasts, and live performance platforms.

We work with emerging artists, major independent acts, label-backed releases, and content creators every day. Our downtown location is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly capable Recording Engineer who can confidently run sessions, manage clients, and deliver a professional studio experience without constant supervision.

This is not an internship or entry-level role.

We’re looking for someone who already understands studio etiquette, signal flow, vocal recording, artist management, and session workflow. You should be comfortable taking ownership of sessions, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining studio standards, and helping create an environment where artists feel inspired to perform.

  • Create rough mixes during sessions
  • Manage Pro Tools, Logic, FL Studio, or equivalent DAWs
  • Handle file management, session backups, and exports
  • Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
  • Assist with content shoots, livestreams, and studio productions when required
  • Deliver excellent customer service to artists and clients
  • Help maximize room utilization and booking efficiency
  • Represent the Studio Of Legends brand professionally

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional recording studio experience
  • Strong understanding of recording, editing, and vocal production
  • Knowledge of signal flow, audio interfaces, microphones, outboard gear, and studio routing
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep sessions moving efficiently

Bonus Experience

  • Mixing & mastering
  • Content creation or videography
  • Experience with live sound
  • Knowledge of Blackmagic, ATEM, OBS, or podcast production
  • Experience working with hip-hop, R&B, reggae, and melodic rap artists

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Mix & master opportunities
  • Performance incentives
  • Consistent studio bookings
  • Opportunity for long-term growth within Studio Of Legends

We’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, understand artist culture, and want to build something bigger than just another studio job.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
