Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a breakfast and hotel assistance staff member. This role involves providing excellent guest service, supporting food service operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for hotel guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service, with a strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve breakfast to hotel guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Manage food handling and safety protocols according to health regulations
  • Operate POS systems for meal orders and transactions, including Micros POS if applicable
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations through regular cleaning routines
  • Support hotel staff with guest services, including answering questions and providing information about hotel amenities
  • Assist with meal setup, replenishing supplies, and ensuring smooth operation during service hours
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic cooking skills and experience with meal preparation are advantageous
  • Experience in hotel settings or as a barista can be beneficial but not mandatory
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours during breakfast service times
