Looking for Assistant General Manager (AGM) and Shift Supervisors to work at the Taco Bell located at 1195 Barton St E, Hamilton.

The Taco Bell Assistant General Manager role is to assist the Restaurant General Manager. They should be a leader of the TEAM who establishes the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer hospitality. You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. Key responsibilities include finding, hiring and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire. You’re also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude. Job Requirements and Essential Functions

  • 1-3 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
  • Basic personal computer literacy
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
  • Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. during 80% of shift time

As a Shift Manager, you support the Restaurant General Manager by running great work shifts and meeting Taco Bell standards. You take ownership and responsibility to solve problems, seek help when needed and are willing to help and guide others. Key responsibilities include making sure Team Members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner. You’ll also ensure that the restaurant is a safe place for Team Members to work and customers to visit.

Shift Manager behaviours include:

  • Solving customer complaints quickly and with a smile.
  • Providing feedback to Team Members in a positive manner.
  • Communicating openly and honestly with the Restaurant Management team.
  • Following cash, security, inventory and labour policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends if required
