Full job description

We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover a medical leave at our Calgary clinic. We are open to making this a permanent position for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional who values collaboration, contributes to a positive workplace culture, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care from an administrative perspective. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.

We pride ourselves on offering a supportive, friendly, and enjoyable work environment, and we are looking for someone who will be a great fit with our team and help maintain the high level of service our patients have come to expect.

Duties

  • Answer telephones for new and existing patients.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Answer basic dental questions for patients.
  • Process paper and electronic insurance coverage for patients.
  • Maintain and organize details about upcoming patient appointments.
  • Coordinate with the dental team emergency and routine care concerns.

What We Need

  • Clear communication in a team supported environment.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures
  • ClearDent experience preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year dental clinic experience is preferred
