This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role suited to someone who is equally comfortable keeping an office organized, communication with community partners, helping plan an event, preparing promotional materials, supporting a donor initiative and welcoming someone through SNAC’s doors. The successful candidate will work closely with the Board, staff, tenants, artists, volunteers and community partners to help ensure SNAC operates efficiently while continuing to grow as a vibrant and welcoming arts and community space.

In Summary

More than anything, SNAC needs someone who can connect the pieces. Someone who can keep the office organized while seeing opportunities beyond the office — a new partnership, a funding opportunity, an event that needs promoting, a community story worth telling, or a detail that needs following up. We are looking for someone who understands that a community arts centre is built through relationships. The right person will help keep SNAC organized, connected, visible and moving forward — while ensuring everyone who interacts with the Centre feels genuinely welcome.
