We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Clinical Operations Nurse Manager to provide leadership and oversight within a Long-Term Care home. This is a senior clinical leadership role responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of two assigned home areas, ensuring high standards of resident care, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will bring strong clinical judgment, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to supporting nursing and care teams. This role is ideal for someone operating at a Nurse Manager or ADOC-equivalent level who is comfortable leading clinical operations, managing priorities, and ensuring care delivery aligns with best practices and Long-Term Care standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Operations Manager will be responsible for:

· Providing daily leadership and operational oversight for two assigned home areas within the Long-Term Care home.

· Supporting nursing, PSW, and interdisciplinary team members in delivering safe, resident-centred care.

· Monitoring resident care standards, documentation, care plans, risk management, and follow-up processes.

· Ensuring compliance with applicable Long-Term Care legislation, policies, procedures, and internal standards.

· Supporting staff scheduling, deployment, performance management, coaching, and accountability.

· Acting as a key point of contact for clinical concerns, family escalations, resident care issues, and operational priorities.

· Participating in audits, quality improvement initiatives, inspections, and action plans.

· Supporting infection prevention and control practices, health and safety standards, and emergency response processes.

· Collaborating with internal leadership, contracted agency staff, home leadership, and interdisciplinary partners.

· Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, staff communication, resident outcomes, and operational efficiency.

· Providing mentorship and guidance to registered staff and frontline team members.

· Assisting with onboarding, orientation, education, and ongoing staff development.

· Maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication with residents, families, staff, and leadership.

· Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is considered an asset.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

· Current registration in good standing as an RN or RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

· Previous leadership experience in Long-Term Care, retirement, hospital, or a similar healthcare setting.

· Experience supervising or supporting nursing and frontline care teams.

· Strong understanding of Long-Term Care operations, resident care standards, documentation, and compliance expectations.

· Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced care environment.

· Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

· Experience with audits, quality improvement, care planning, and staff coaching is considered an asset.

· Knowledge of PointClickCare or similar electronic health record systems is considered an asset.

· Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is considered an asset.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a leader who is:

· Confident, professional, and approachable.

· Comfortable taking ownership of clinical and operational outcomes.

· Able to build trust with staff, residents, families, and home leadership.

· Skilled at balancing compassion with accountability.

· Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions.

· Experienced in Long-Term Care and comfortable working within a regulated care environment.
