Full job description

A key role of the Pottery wheel Instructor is to serve as a welcoming and inspiring presence — an “ambassador”-- in the studio. You'll host group classes, private classes or baby/bridal showers.

We're looking for either one person that can do full time hours or two people that can split the shifts. Evenings and weekends required.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Maintain the Pottery Studio to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.

- Oversee, direct and maintain efficient operation of the studio

- Facilitate, lead and supervise the studio operations

- Keep studio clean and tidy

- Liaise with other studio employees or assist with parties/appointments/wheel throwing

- Advise Owner and/or other staff if applicable of any customer service issues, complaints or inquiries

- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-pottery wheel - you can create basic mugs, bowls

- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills and above average organizational and follow-up skills required.

- Strong time management, multi-tasking and above average organizational and follow-up skills required.

- Available afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends- Saturday/Sunday. Might lead to full time position as we are rapidly growing.

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs of clay

$18-$20 to start, plus tips, $5 for each 5 star review that mention your name.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
