Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Tattoo Studio Manager to lead our vibrant studio team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and foster a creative and professional environment. Your leadership will drive sales growth, maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, and support our talented tattoo artists in delivering outstanding work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine business management with the artistry of tattooing, ensuring the studio runs smoothly and profitably while cultivating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily studio operations, including scheduling appointments, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
  • Oversee retail sales activities, including merchandising, pricing strategies, and product purchasing to maximize revenue
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, managing phone etiquette, and ensuring a positive studio experience
  • Supervise cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and store management duties with precision and integrity
  • Develop marketing initiatives to promote the studio’s services through social media, local outreach, and promotional events
  • Train and develop team members in sales techniques, customer engagement, safety protocols, and technical skills
  • Monitor inventory levels for supplies and merchandise; coordinate purchasing to optimize stock levels while controlling costs
  • Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management, communication skills, and leadership that inspires teamwork

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising or store management experience within retail or service environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of artists and staff
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients
  • Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and payroll management
  • Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and cash handling procedures
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative tasks
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene standards in a tattoo studio setting
