Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food. Your enthusiasm and multitasking skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service, while contributing to a lively and positive environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
  • Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding service to ensure a memorable experience
  • Handle cash register operations using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food prep areas and dining spaces
  • Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
  • Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are consistently met

Skills

  • Proven barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar cashiering software
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
  • Experience in the food industry or food service environment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
