Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add Landscapers to our team in Bedford, we have available positions within our Maintenance and Construction divisions! We have done premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden Street, Queen’s Marque, and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck. Check out Trim Landscaping to learn more!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal clean-ups.
  • Water residential and commercial properties, including lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, and newly installed landscape features to promote healthy growth.
  • Plant, weed, mulch, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and garden beds.
  • Assist with landscape construction projects, including softscape installation, grading, and site preparation.
  • Operate landscaping equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas while following company safety procedures and working collaboratively with the crew.

Qualifications:

  • Genuine interest in landscaping, gardening, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Willingness to learn proper horticultural techniques and landscaping best practices.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job sites.
