About Trim Landscaping!

Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add an Operator to our team in Bedford. We have done premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden Street, Queen’s Marque, and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck. Check out Trim Landscaping to learn more!

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate equipment including excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders and other landscape construction equipment.
  • Complete grading, excavation, site preparation and material placement.
  • Load, unload and transport soil, gravel, mulch and other landscaping materials.
  • Assist with the installation of retaining walls, trees, shrubs, drainage systems and other landscape features.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Read site plans and work with the Crew Leader to complete projects efficiently.
  • Support crew members with general landscape construction tasks when equipment is not in use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating construction or landscaping equipment.
  • Experience operating excavators and skid steers is required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, dependable and able to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in landscape construction is considered an asset.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work during peak season.
