Position Overview — Architectural Designer

We're looking for an Architectural Designer with strong hands-on Revit and AutoCAD skills to join our Design Division in Burlington. You'll produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models for commercial pool and aquatic facility projects, supporting engineers and project managers throughout the design and construction process.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong in Revit, enjoys detailed drafting and design work, and wants long-term growth in a collaborative, construction-focused environment.

What you'll do

  • Produce detailed Revit models and drawings (2D/3D) for commercial pool and building projects
  • Assist with AutoCAD drafting, updates, and as-built drawings
  • Update and revise drawings based on redlines and markups
  • Prepare drawing sets and cut sheets for tender, permit, and construction
  • Maintain organized drawing files and digital records
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate drawing revisions with project managers and team members
  • Support general drafting and design coordination needs as required

What you bring

  • College diploma or university degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a design, drafting, or construction environment
  • Strong hands-on Revit experience (mandatory) — modelling, views, sheets, and detailing
  • AutoCAD experience (2D drafting and updates)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
  • Ability to follow standards and work within established workflows
  • Strong communication and team-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working full-time on-site in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in commercial construction, mechanical, structural, or building systems
  • Exposure to swimming pool or aquatic facility projects
  • Understanding of construction drawings and terminology
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
