Full job description

Requirement:

  • Degree or Diploma of Interior Design or Architectural Studies/Technologist.
  • Minimum 1 years working experience (including internship) of Interior Design or Architectural field.
  • Experience with Commerical Interior Design a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code.
  • Strong three-dimensional visualization skill.
  • Good communication (written and verbal), strong interpersonal skills and proactive personality.
  • Excellent proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop
  • Capable of working individually and as a team member while following Company’s Technical Standards.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and carrying out project-related administrative work.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Be willing to work overtime.
  • Must be self-initiative.

Design Responsibilities:

  • Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project
  • Assist in designing stage including, but not limited to, block planning, feasibility study, space planning, design concept, presentation drawings, color boards, etc.
  • Assist in project implementation including, but not limited to, space analysis and programming, site measuring, floor plans, working drawings and as-built drawings update, etc.
  • Sample library update. meetings and coordination with suppliers.
  • Design materials, fixtures, products sourcing and acquisition of samples.
  • Attend Internal Co-ordination and Project Meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
