Swim Instructor (Private & Semi-Private Lessons)

Compensation: $23–$27/hour based on certifications and experience

Inspired Swim is seeking professional Swim Instructors who are passionate about helping swimmers build confidence, develop skills, and achieve meaningful progress in the water.

We specialize in private and semi-private swim lessons, allowing instructors to focus on what matters most: building relationships, developing skills, and helping swimmers gain confidence in the water.

Unlike traditional swim schools, our lessons are limited to a maximum of three swimmers, creating an environment where instructors can provide individualized instruction and see meaningful progress.

Flexible Part-Time Scheduling

Responsibilities

• Deliver private and semi-private swim lessons
• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual swimmer goals
• Complete swimmer progress reports and report cards
• Communicate professionally with families and management
• Maintain a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment
• Represent Inspired Swim's values and commitment to exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification (required)
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C (or equivalent) required
• Strong swimming and teaching skills
• Experience working with children of various ages and abilities
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated
• Comfortable teaching from within the water when appropriate
• Passionate about helping swimmers build confidence and achieve their goals
