Summary

We are seeking 1rst - 4th year Apprentice Electricians to join our dynamic team at TRU Electric Ltd. located in Calgary.

Type of electrical work

  • Multi-family
  • Residential

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed electricians in installing and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Participate in the troubleshooting of electrical issues under supervision.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Support the team in various construction tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to the successful completion of projects on time.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience or training as an industrial electrician is highly required to be considered
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is required.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints is a plus.
  • Strong communication and reading skills are required
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • MUST LIVE IN CALGARY CITY LIMITS
  • Reliable transportation
  • 1-5 years applicable construction experience, Eg: framed, carpentry, worked in another trade.
  • Required: Has own hand tools and steel toe boots

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
