Now Hiring: Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians

Sun Life Electrical Ltd. – Nova Scotia

Sun Life Electrical Ltd. is expanding in Nova Scotia, and we are looking for dedicated, skilled, and safety-focused electricians to join our growing team. We deliver high-quality electrical work across residential, commercial, and multi-unit construction projects. Positions AvailableJourneyman Electrician (Construction Electrician)

Wage: $25–$45 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
(Valid Nova Scotia Certificate of Qualification required.)

Apprentice Electrician (All Levels)

Wage: Starting wage is based on apprenticeship level and experience.
(Registered with the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs according to the Nova Scotia Electrical Code
  • Work on new construction, renovations, service work, and multi-family projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Collaborate with supervisors, other trades, and team members
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety at all job sites
  • Follow all Sun Life Electrical Ltd. and provincial safety standards

QualificationsJourneyman Electrician

  • Strong experience in residential and commercial projects
  • Ability to mentor apprentices and lead small teams

Apprentice Electrician

  • Registered apprentice with NS Apprenticeship Agency
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Basic knowledge of electrical tools and systems

All Applicants

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
