About the Role

As a Journeyperson Electrician (309A), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical services across a diverse range of projects, including new construction, renovations, fire alarm and life safety installations, generator and UPS system installs, specialty lighting, and industrial automation. You’ll work alongside a team committed to safety, professionalism, and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, institutional, and manufacturing environments
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and specifications
  • Perform fire alarm and life safety system installations and testing
  • Install and service generators, UPS systems, and specialty lighting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all work complies with ESA/ECRA regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, facility managers, and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Valid 309A Electrician license (Ontario)
  • Proven experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial electrical work
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and circuit diagrams
  • Strong knowledge of ESA/ECRA codes and safety regulations
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Experience with generator and UPS system installations
  • Industrial automation experience
