Job Overview

We are seeking a Telematics Retrofit, Installation Coordination and Support Specialist to join our Telematics team. This role is focused on coordinating and overseeing telematics retrofit and installation activity across customer fleets while also providing front-line telematics support through Salesforce case management.

Responsibilities include scheduling installs, confirming unit and device details, supporting technicians, tracking installation progress, validating activation and reporting status, troubleshooting support inquiries, documenting case activity, and ensuring accurate records are maintained from planning through completion. The successful candidate will be organized, customer-focused, technically capable, and comfortable coordinating with customers, technicians, internal departments, and vendor partners to keep retrofit, installation, and support activity moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to incoming customer support emails and internal telematics requests.
  • Create, update, and track support cases in Salesforce or other internal systems.
  • Assist with new customer onboarding, including account setup, user access, unit profile creation, and basic portal configuration.
  • Work with shop, mobile service, technicians, sales, administration, billing, warranty, and vendor support teams to ensure installs are properly scheduled, completed, documented, and activated.
  • Validate completed installations by confirming reporting status, unit visibility, device activation, alarm communication, and data accuracy in the appropriate telematics platforms.
  • Prepare basic reports, summaries, and follow-up notes for customers, technicians, sales representatives, and management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, technology, logistics, automotive, transportation, or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer service approach.
  • Knowledge of, or strong interest in, fleet technology, refrigeration equipment, connected devices, diagnostics, transportation operations, or service coordination.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, follow procedures, and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter, review, and maintain data.
  • Experience with Salesforce, telematics platforms, or similar systems is considered an asset.

Skills and Attributes

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to maintain momentum across multiple retrofit, installation, and support activities.
  • Technically capable and willing to continue building knowledge of telematics systems, support processes, troubleshooting methods, and customer workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to ask clear questions and gather accurate information.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to support a variety of operational tasks as business needs change

Training and Development

The successful candidate will receive product and process training to support telematics account management, customer support workflows, Salesforce case handling, device commissioning support, fleet health monitoring, reporting, billing coordination, and the operation of key telematics platforms used by refrigerated transportation customers.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience

Shift: Monday-Friday, times to be mutually agreed upon, fully on-site.

The above salary range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and proven experience. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

This role includes competitive compensation and eligible benefits (medical, dental, vision) after completing your probationary period of (3) months of active employment.
