Drive Technical Sales Success as a Senior Applications Specialist in Edmonton's Industrial Equipment Sector
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Applications Specialist in the Industrial Equipment industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
Are you a technically minded professional who enjoys solving complex customer challenges and managing projects from quote to completion? Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Applications Specialist to support industrial customers across Western Canada. In this role, you'll provide equipment selection expertise, prepare proposals and quotations, manage project deliverables, and collaborate closely with sales teams and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Select and size equipment based on customer specifications and application requirements
  • Prepare accurate pricing, quotations, and project proposals
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate key deliverables
  • Support post-sale activities including submittals, expediting, and final documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and application support to customers
  • Collaborate with outside sales teams to support business development activities
  • Maintain CRM records, customer interactions, and project updates
  • Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements:
  • Hold an Engineering Technology diploma, engineering designation, or related technical education
  • Demonstrate at least 2 years of industrial technical sales experience
  • Possess experience with engineered equipment or industrial process systems
  • Apply strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Utilize CRM platforms, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office effectively
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry professionals
  • Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Travel occasionally within Canada and the United States as required
