Full job description

Systems Support Specialist - Applied Epic Broker Management System

About InsureLine

InsureLine is growing fast; and we're building a team that's curious, driven, and genuinely good to work with. We skip the red tape in favour of people who show up, solve real problems, and help each other win.

Maybe you've spent the last few years as a broker, or in an admin role, and lately it's started to feel routine. You're ready for something that actually stretches you. If you're the person your team calls when Applied Epic acts up, and you'd rather solve the mystery than just hit restart, this is your next move. As our Product & Systems Specialist, you'll get hands-on with Applied Epic and the tools that keep it running — fixing what's broken, building what's missing, and rolling out changes that franchises and our owned-operations teams actually notice. You'll report to the Manager of Systems, with real room to help shape how the network works, not just maintain it.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You've got sharp eyes for detail and zero patience for a problem left half-solved. When something breaks, you want to know why — and you want to be the one who fixes it, not just the one who reports it. You're self-motivated and resourceful, the type to dig through documentation, test a few theories, and figure it out even when nobody's handed you the answer. And you're looking for more than a paycheque: you want a team that cares as much as you do about doing things right and about making InsureLine's systems — and the brokers who rely on them — genuinely better.

Key Responsibilities

· Keep Applied Epic and the tools around it running smoothly, from everyday configuration to troubleshooting when something's not working right.

· Build the reports, dashboards, and templates that help brokers get their work done faster.

· Help new franchises and team members get set up and comfortable with our systems, with clear training and support along the way.

· Work with the Systems team to test and roll out changes and keep everyone in the loop on what's new.

· Look for ways to make everyday processes simpler and less manual across the network.

Skills, Education and Qualifications

· 3+ years of P&C insurance experience, with hands-on day-to-day experience using Applied Epic — broker-side experience is a great fit.

· Comfortable digging into problems and troubleshooting — you don't need to have all the answers, just the curiosity to go find them.

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and confidence putting together documentation or training materials.

· Organized, self-motivated, and customer-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

· Nice to have: some experience on the more technical side of Applied Epic, like system setup, dashboards, or reporting — we're happy to help you build this up on the job.
