We thank all candidates for showing interest in this role; however, only retained candidates will be contacted.
About our client:
Our client is a global leader in electrical interconnect testing solutions—serving industries from aerospace and rail to automotive, defense, space, and high-tech manufacturing. Our client develops advanced platforms (EZX, CTX, MPT) that enable fast, accurate diagnostics and testing of cables, harnesses, connectors, and backplanes, whether in production, assembly, or maintenance environments.
The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As Application Specialist on the technical support team, you’ll be instrumental in delivering best-in-class support throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial inquiry through system deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Here’s how your day will look:
Provide commercial and technical guidance on the Company's EZX, CTX, and MPT platforms, including product configuration and application strategy.
Collaborate with sales on tender and project management, crafting proposals complete with specs, calculations, timelines, and bid submissions.
Manage end-to-end project workflows, from approval to customer negotiations to submission, especially for mid-to-high-complexity requests.
Deliver first-contact resolution aligned with service level agreements; triage and escalate as needed.
Troubleshoot customer issues involving harness and cable systems, aiming for quick, effective resolutions to maintain uptime and trust.
Process special orders and coordinate with suppliers to customize equipment for unique use cases.
Educate and support customers in leveraging the Studio Software platform, including remote diagnostics, test software, and reporting systems.
Partner with internal teams (product engineering, manufacturing, QA) to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement in support services.
Your Background & Qualifications:
Must be a Canadian Citizen
Degree in Electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technologist (AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate)
Ideally 3–5 years in a similar technical role.
Experience in estimating, quotation management, and solution design, ideally in sectors like cable/harness testing, custom-engineered systems, or manufacturing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM/ERP systems.
Solid grasp of electrical interconnect testing fundamentals, interpreting technical datasheets, understanding testing modes (continuity, hipot, high voltage), etc.
Strong communicator who builds rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Organized, deadline-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic tech environment.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent admin and documentation skills.
Fluent in English, additional languages are beneficial.
What’s in It for You?
Our client empowers their employees' professional and personal growth through a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Expect:
A workplace where your ideas matter—contribute to both local and global projects with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Inclusive culture with forums that let employees connect, share ideas, and feel heard.
Paid comprehensive health benefits.
RRSP matching plan (employee/employer)
Why You'll Love It Here:
You will be at the intersection of cutting-edge electrical testing and customer-first support. Your technical know-how will directly impact the reliability of critical systems - from railways and aircraft to space applications. Be part of a proud legacy of innovation, backed by the global strength, and driven by the passion to detect, protect, and serve.
