Zacharias McCann LLP is a full-service law firm servicing clients throughout Alberta and BC with offices in Edmonton, the Fraser Valley, and Victoria. We have an open position available for a full-time Family Lawyer (3+ year of call) in our Chilliwack location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
  • Conducting research and analysis of legislation and case law.
  • Review and analyze evidence and identify key issues and potential arguments.
  • Maintaining accuracy while preparing agreements, pleadings and court materials.
  • Preparing for and attending court proceedings.
  • File management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of post-call experience.
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
  • Strong research skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work with a supportive team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when the urgencies arise.
