Job Description

Exit 79 Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Help/Dishwasher to assist with kitchen operations and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant. This role is ideal for someone reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting food preparation, and helping the kitchen team deliver high-quality service.

Compensation: Hourly wage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as required
  • Support kitchen staff with restocking supplies and handling waste
  • Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and ready for service
  • Assist with general kitchen duties as needed to support operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations throughout service

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Willingness to learn and support team operations

Description du poste

Le restaurant Exit 79 recherche un aide de cuisine / plongeur dévoué et motivé pour soutenir les opérations en cuisine et assurer le bon fonctionnement du restaurant. Ce poste est idéal pour une personne fiable, travailleuse et désireuse de s’intégrer dans un environnement de restauration au rythme soutenu. Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle essentiel dans le maintien de la propreté, l’appui à la préparation des aliments et le soutien à l’équipe de cuisine afin d’assurer un service de qualité.

Rémunération : Salaire horaire

Missions et responsabilités

  • Laver et désinfecter la vaisselle, les ustensiles, les casseroles et le matériel de cuisine
  • Maintenir en tout temps un environnement de cuisine propre, sécuritaire et organisé
  • Respecter les normes de sécurité alimentaire et d’hygiène
  • Participer aux tâches de préparation de base des aliments selon les besoins
  • Aider à la gestion des stocks et à l’élimination des déchets
  • S’assurer que les outils et équipements de cuisine sont propres et prêts à l’emploi
  • Effectuer diverses tâches générales de cuisine selon les besoins
  • Maintenir la propreté des postes de travail pendant le service

Exigences

  • Expérience en cuisine un atout, mais non obligatoire
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide
  • Bon esprit d’équipe et bonnes compétences en communication
  • Capacité à suivre les instructions et à travailler sous pression
  • Être légalement autorisé à travailler au Canada
  • Disponibilité pour travailler selon des horaires flexibles, incluant soirs, fins de semaine et jours fériés
