Position: Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
Location: North West Territories.
Rotations: 3 weeks in / 3 weeks out
Pay rate: $350 per day
Advanced Medical Solutions has an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Responder to join our Community Health Services team.

What You Bring:
- EMR Emergency Medical Responder
- CMA accredited program or EMP Canada EMR Program
- HCP CPR Provider or BLS
- WHMIS
- Class 4 Driver’s License - (Must have)
- Drivers Abstract – in good standing
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
- Current Medical & Immunization Records
- Emergency Vehicle Operator certification or equivalent preferred
Your Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team (with a PCP) to provide the highest and most effective patient care possible
- Assess the extent of injuries or illness of patients to determine emergency medical treatment required
- Responsible for the safe ambulance operations and transport of patients from remote areas to the Inuvik Regional Hospital
- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
- Cleaning and maintenance of medical equipment, ambulance, base, and resupply of consumable equipment
