Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Project Manager with experience in the Canadian construction industry with direct expertise with ICI aluminum and glazing. Candidate must have experience in curtain wall, window, door and cladding systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to oversee project lifecycle from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of the construction project and oversees its organization and execution.
• Assists in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects and equipment problems.
• Anticipates resources needed to reach objectives, coordinate and manage resources in an effective, optimum and efficient manner.
• Prepares budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and tracks costs in order to meet budget.
• Monitors job progress and costs with adjustments as required.
• Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Supervises and provides guidance to the crew and sub-contractors to ensure the proper materials and methods, technique for installation, and equipment is utilized properly and efficiently.
• Experience in producing detailed construction document sets.
• Able to multi-task and administer more than one project at a time.
• Main contact for all projects representatives to answer all requests, concerns, questions, and always provides exceptional customer service.
• Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Must be skilled at measuring and good at recording detailed measurement.
• Provides regular progress updates to Management.
• Exceptional customer service.
• Understanding curtain wall and window systems tolerances plus environmental and logistical influences is vital.
• The ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Clean driving record, willing to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of project management and related experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Field verification is a must.
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
• Proficiency in computer skills in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and project planning software such as MS Project.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Post secondary degree or diploma in business, or a related field.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
