Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

Medicine Hat, Alberta

AgroPlus is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to lead warehouse operations at our Medicine Hat location. This is a hands-on working leadership role. The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator is actively engaged in daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, equipment operation, customer order fulfillment, and facility organization. Success in this role requires comfort working in the warehouse environment alongside the team, particularly during seasonal peaks typical of agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and hold warehouse staff accountable for performance while maintaining a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and operational discipline
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, product handling, and customer pickups
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee warehouse equipment, facility maintenance, and yard organization
  • Support sales and agronomy teams with efficient order fulfillment
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or agricultural operations with demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day operational workload
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience preferred (or equivalent responsibility leading teams informally)
  • Demonstrated comfort working in physically active warehouse and outdoor environments
  • Forklift and equipment operation experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work extended seasonal hours when required
