Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Coverall Uniform Linen and Mats Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of garments, entrance mats, linens, and other products to customers throughout Fort McMurray and surrounding oil sands sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver and pick up garments, entrance mats, linens, and other products from customers
  • Drive a 3-tonne delivery truck safely and responsibly
  • Complete deliveries and pickups throughout town and at various oil sands sites
  • Load and unload products, including heavy lifting
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day
  • Complete required delivery paperwork accurately
  • Use GPS and navigation systems to locate customer sites
  • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Complete required safety documentation and site requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service while representing Coverall professionally

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence – required
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certification – required
  • Clean and acceptable 3 year driving record
  • Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset
  • Comfortable driving a 3-tonne truck
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to complete paperwork accurately
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy items
  • Comfortable with repetitive physical work
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
