  • Collaborate closely with head office in Vancouver regarding sales activities, forecasts, customer opportunities, inventory requirements, and market intelligence.
  • Attend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and other business development events as required.
  • Travel regularly throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to visit customers and prospects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in food commodities, canned foods, grocery, foodservice, ingredient sales, or related industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, pricing strategies, margins, and profitability.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the territory.

What We're Looking For

  • An entrepreneurial and results-oriented sales professional.

  • Someone who is proactive, accountable, and capable of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
  • A team player who embraces collaboration despite working remotely.
