InsureLine Brokers (Clear Cut), part of a national brokerage in Canada, is a leader in Home, Auto, Business and Travel insurance. We are currently looking for Commission Producers throughout Alberta (Edmonton, Calgary, St. Albert, Leduc, Red Deer, Fort Saskatchewan, Spruce Grove, Wetaskiwin, Lacombe, Grand Prairie, Camrose, Hinton, Morinville, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Canmore, Cochrane, Okotoks, Strathmore, etc.). You will have the flexibility to work from home or in one of our offices in Edmonton and Calgary.

***Brokers and brokerages with an existing book of business and/or staff will be considered for a higher commission and book ownership structure.

Main Duties:

  • Sell and service General Insurance products
  • Build your own healthy book of business and maintain high levels of client retention
  • Develop and implement a business plan for generating new sales (incl. strategies for lead generation such as active prospecting, networking, cross-selling, etc.)
  • Engage with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and proactive and effective communication
  • Manage and process business (including risk assessment, quoting/marketing, reviewing coverage, processing policy changes/endorsements, handling renewals, etc.) on a timely basis
  • Handle customers' and insurers' inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support clients in the claims process, etc.

Requirements:

  • High level of motivation and willingness to prospect for quality business
  • Superior work ethic with high level of integrity, professionalism, reliability and accountability
  • Excellent time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills with a natural ability at building authentic client relationships
  • High school diploma (minimum)
  • General Insurance level 1 license (minimum)
  • Minimum 1 year General Insurance experience
  • Commercial Insurance experience with working knowledge of various commercial lines business (i.e. commercial property & commercial liability, bonds, commercial auto/trucking/fleet, etc.) and commercial markets (standard and specialty) would be an asset
  • Experience in insurance companies' portals/quoting softwares
  • Knowledge of Applied Epic and Applied Rating Services would be an asset
