Le poste de technicien du fret à l'aéroport de YUL est une poste syndiqué au Cargo Airport Service (CAS), qui est situé à l'aéroport Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

Les techniciens de fret sont responsables de la gestion de l'entreposage du fret, y compris la réception, la répartition et la mise en place du fret aérien, du courrier aérien, de la conduite de véhicules motorisés en fonction des opérations ; du nettoyage de routine des zones de travail, des rampes, de l'équipement et des installations avec ou sans équipement motorisé ; et d'autres tâches et fonctions liées à ce qui précède. Le travail se fait principalement dans un environnement d'entrepôt, a l'interieur.

Échelle salariale syndicale = augmentations tous les six mois.

Français et anglais de base ou anglais et français de base-(En étant l'anglais la langue aérienne mondial, la connaissance de la langue anglais de base est requise pour lire les lettres de transport aérien)

English:

Cargo Handlers are responsible for cargo warehousing, including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight, air mail and other cargo at air freight docks and other cargo facilities; operating motorized vehicles as related to the operation; routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, equipment and facilities with or without powered equipment; and other duties and functions related to the foregoing. Work is mainly in a warehouse environment, inside the warehouse.

Union wage scale = increases every six months.

Benefits paid 100% by the employeur.

RRSP-50% employeur portion.

Qualifications Wanted:

Canadian citizen or Landed Immigrant status required.

Back ground check required for obtainment of Transport Canada security clearance and airport pass.

Must be able to obtain Airport issued Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (D/A) in order to operate vehicles on the ramp.

Must be able to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.

French and Basic English or English and Basic French-(Being English the world's aviation language, knowledge of Basic English is required to read airway bills)

Ability to lift 32 Kg.

All training will be provided.
