Overview

Join our dynamic team as an A&W Crew Member at Pearson Airport, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming and efficient food service experience for travelers. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering top-notch customer service while preparing and serving delicious food. As a vital part of our airport operation, you’ll be the friendly face that enhances the journey for every guest, ensuring their experience is memorable from start to finish.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.

Experience

  • Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, cashiering, or working with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling.
  • Experience working in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during high-volume periods.
