Heli-One Canada is hiring experienced Transport Canada licensed Structures AME’s (S or ACA rated) at our Delta and Richmond, BC locations.
You will be responsible to:
- Follow approved repair/modification procedures for component or aircraft, consulting internal procedures that have been TC approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.
- Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
- Inspects completed work to identify any needed rework before submitting for final release inspection; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
- Performs serviceability tests on repairs using test equipment specified in technical manuals.
- Completes work package documentation after finishing all designated operations.
- Submits completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and recertification of airworthiness.
- Work shifts/weekends as required.
- Frequently operates dangerous machineries requiring safety equipment such as safety eyeglasses, hearing protectors, work boots and hard hats.
- Constantly exposed to noise, fumes, gas, chemicals, dust or dirt.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme temperature or humidity.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Are you Qualified?
- Do you have a valid Transport Canada or ACS AME “S” Type license?
- Do you have a min 3 years’ Structures experience?
- Are you efficient in the use of electronic manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find information?
- Do you have a strong understanding of aviation standards?
- Are you self-motivated with the ability to process complex systems and logically process problems?
- And last but not least... are you legally able to work in Canada?
