Position: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

BWI Business World Inc. and Zipmaster Supply Co. are looking for an energetic, highly organized, and proactive Administrative Personal Assistant to join our growing team in South Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

As our Administrative Personal Assistant, you will:

  • Provide executive administrative and personal assistant support to seniour management.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate business travel and accommodations.
  • Prepare professional correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate meetings, projects, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with bookkeeping support, data entry, research, and general office administration.
  • Run business and personal errands as needed.
  • Drive to meetings, suppliers, appointments, and other business-related destinations throughout Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
  • Travel throughout British Columbia approximately 1–2 times per month to attend business meetings, conferences, trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Represent the company professionally at a variety of business events, including those within the liquor and cannabis industries.
  • Assist in implementing and utilizing AI tools to improve office productivity and business processes.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an office administrative, executive assistant, or similar professional role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding telephone etiquette and customer service abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail)
  • Experience using AI productivity platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • A positive, outgoing, energetic personality with a "can-do" attitude.

Requirements

  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving throughout Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
  • Willingness to travel throughout British Columbia 1–2 times per month.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend business functions and special events.
  • Comfortable attending and representing the company at events within the liquor and cannabis industries.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
