Full job description

MSI Corp. is seeking a Product Owner to lead project controls for large-scale IT and BI/AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to manage and control project delivery, ensuring all BI and AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and under budget.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination between internal technical teams and third-party vendors to maintain strict alignment with financial targets and project objectives.
  • Oversee cash flow management, expense tracking, and long-range financial forecasting. You will identify risks and variances before they impact the bottom line.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into concise, high-level reports for leadership and governance forums.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Project Control and Product Owner role in fast paced IT / Technical or BI / AI companies.
  • Expert-level skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within enterprise-scale IT environments.
  • Advanced Excel (vlookups, pivots, complex modeling) and proficiency in MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience within Telecom and/or an BI organization is an advantage.
  • A high degree of ownership and the ability to influence stakeholders toward financial accountability.
  • Experience in reviewing, accessing and analysis of large scale data sets.
  • Experience in projects delivery of data automation.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4W 5R1
