Job Overview
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Product Owner to act as the primary bridge between our business vision and our engineering execution. In this role, you won't just "manage a list"; you will be the architect of value, translating complex stakeholder requirements into actionable, high-impact product increments. You will champion the "Product as a Platform" mindset, ensuring our solutions are scalable, globalized, and augmented by emerging AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backlog Mastery: Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog. Ensure every user story follows the INVEST criteria and contains clear, testable acceptance criteria.

2. Strategic Alignment: Translate the high-level product roadmap into tactical sprint goals. Balance technical debt with feature development to ensure long-term system health.

3. Stakeholder Synergy: Act as the "single source of truth" for the development team. Navigate competing priorities from sales, marketing, and executive leadership using frameworks like RICE or MoSCoW.

4. AI & Innovation: Identify opportunities to integrate AI "Co-pilots" and automation to enhance the user experience and internal operational efficiency.

5. Data-Driven Leadership: Utilize product analytics (NPS, churn, engagement metrics) to validate hypotheses and pivot strategy based on real-world evidence.

6. Ceremony Leadership: Partner with the Scrum Master to lead high-energy Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Refinement sessions.

QualificationsRequired

  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile environment.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Alibaba Cloud), and API integrations.
  • Agile Expertise: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent experience in Scrum/Kanban. Familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) is a plus.
  • Tools: Mastery of Jira, Confluence, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred Soft SkillsThe "Translator" Ability: Exceptional skill in explaining technical constraints to business stakeholders and business value to engineers.
  • Decisiveness: The ability to say "no" to low-value requests while maintaining strong professional relationships.

Preferred

  • Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or travel-related industries
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred for cross-region collaboration
  • Experience designing scalable distributed systems
  • Experience integrating AI solutions into production environments
