The Opportunity

This role is based in Alberta (preferred focus: Calgary) with the ability to support accounts nationwide and select strategic customers in the United States. You’ll regularly travel within your territory and will become a trailblazer applying groundbreaking technologies to real-world industrial problems.

You will work hands-on with technologies such as:

  • Industrial robotics (Ex-rated tracked robots & ANYmal legged robots)
  • Gas & flame detection platforms
  • Autonomous drones & remote inspection systems
  • Thermal, visual, acoustic, and OGI inspection tools
  • Industrial IIoT, corrosion/erosion monitoring, and advanced sensors

We treat employees like owners and give you the tools, training, mentorship, and freedom to grow your career far beyond traditional sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities with industrial, commercial, and municipal clients
  • Grow existing accounts while developing new relationships across Canada and select U.S. regions
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of cutting-edge solutions
  • Lead customer engagement, implementations, and after-sales support with strong technical ability
  • Represent MicroWatt as a trusted advisor and preferred vendor in key markets
  • Maintain CRM reporting and activity tracking using Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft tools

  • Experience in industrial sales working with robotics, instrumentation, or IIoT solutions (preferred)
  • Background in mechanical or technical assembly is an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Mining, Metals, Chemical, Utilities, Energy, or Oil & Gas
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in industrial environments—from refineries to mines to manufacturing sites
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organization and time-management skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a strong asset
  • French language ability is considered an advantage
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel up to 50%

Why Join MicroWatt?

  • Family-owned business with a high-trust, high-respect culture
  • Opportunity to sell and work directly with cutting-edge robotics and automation technologies
  • Competitive salary + bonus structure
  • Profit sharing
  • Excellent benefits (health, dental, vision)
  • Flexible schedule & hybrid work options
  • Paid time off
  • On-site gym
  • Significant opportunities for career growth and technical development

This is your chance to join an industry leader and play a defining role in shaping the future of industrial automation across Canada and the United States.
