  • Ensure the surrounding area is clean and tidy; must be on the floor by the start time.
  • Install and assemble components on the assembly line using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers and drills.

  • Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Mechanical inclination with experience using hand and power tools.
  • Good English communication skills for safety reasons, with the ability to read, follow written instructions, and follow verbal instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a hot environment, with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees in the summer and typically 20 in the winter.
  • Ability to stand throughout an 8-hour shift, with movements such as bending, twisting, and crouching.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-6 months of experience on an assembly line or in industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Highly organized with a motivated and positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Why Work Here?

Become part of a positive and friendly team heading towards continuous improvement. Enjoy stable work with a one-year contract, with many contractors transitioning to permanent positions around six months. If you secure a permanent role, you will gain benefits such as extended health coverage and paid long-term disability, along with an RRSP match of up to 5%. There are opportunities for growth into other production lines, warehouse roles, or higher positions on the same team. We offer a structured growth model with different levels and responsibilities, leading to higher pay structures. Enjoy monthly events, Christmas parties, and gain recognizable experience for your future career.

Work Environment

Expect to wear PPE including steel-toe work boots and long-sleeve shirts. The indoor environment can get quite hot, reaching up to 35 degrees in the summer, with fans running to provide some relief. The space is noisy due to power tools but remains bright and clean. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with breaks throughout the day.
