Nefab is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven  Business Development Manager – Defence & Aerospace to lead the growth and development of our business within these strategic industries across Canada.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager – Aerospace & Defence is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will build relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Defence and Aerospace supply chain, helping establish Nefab as a trusted partner for packaging, logistics, and supply chain solutions.

This is a national market-development role focused on creating new opportunities, expanding Nefab's presence within targeted accounts, and driving long-term growth within the Canadian Defence and Aerospace sectors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute a national business development strategy for the Defence and Aerospace markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across Canada.
  • Build relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, government contractors, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Generate and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop account penetration strategies and identify opportunities for long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with Nefab's engineering, operations, and commercial teams to develop customized packaging and logistics solutions.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer requirements and uncover opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, procurement activity, and major Defence and Aerospace programs.
  • Represent Nefab at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Support the successful launch and ongoing growth of newly acquired customer programs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Packaging, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or other technical B2B industries
  • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to engage engineering, procurement, supply chain, operations, and executive-level contacts
  • Existing network within the Canadian Defence and Aerospace industries is considered a strong asset
  • Willingness to travel throughout Canada as required
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Fluent in French, both written and verbal considered an asset
