About the role:

The Program Manager at Pangeo Group is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned automotive programs, from quotation through production and end-of-life. This includes actively influencing cross-functional teams, maintaining alignment with customers, and driving program milestones. The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented leader with a strong sense of ownership, capable of balancing technical, financial, and organizational challenges. A hands-on, decisive individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to ensuring smooth shop floor operations during critical program phases will excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

Program Management and Execution

· Own all aspects of program success, serving as the single point of accountability from quotation through launch, production, and EOP.

· Develop and maintain detailed program timing plans, ensuring alignment with customer milestones and internal objectives.

· Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all program deliverables are met on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

· Be actively present on the shop floor during program launches, working alongside production teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure smooth ramp-up, and support critical launch activities.

· Identify, track, and resolve program risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure program success.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all program-related matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment on program goals.

· Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution.

· Provide regular program updates to the Director of Program Management and other key stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

· Monitor program performance using established KPIs, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program management function, utilizing best practices and lessons learned from previous programs.

· Prepare and present program status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Team Collaboration and Development

· Work closely with other Program Managers to share best practices and drive consistency in program management processes across the organization.

· Contributes to the development of a high-performing program management team by mentoring junior team members and sharing industry knowledge.

Reporting Structure:

· Reports to the Director of Program Management.

Location:

· GTA(Vaughan), Ontario

KPIs (Illustrative & Not Exhaustive):

· On-time delivery of program milestones, particularly during launch phases.

· Budget adherence and cost management.

· Customer satisfaction and relationship management.

· Quality performance, including meeting or exceeding customer specifications.

· Successful program launches with minimal disruptions or delays.

· Continuous improvement / operational efficiency / lean initiatives

· Business growth and development of new opportunities

Competencies/Behaviors:

· Takes full accountability, ensuring all aspects of a program's success.

· Results-driven, including demonstrating resilience to overcome obstacles / challenges

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Hands-on approach with a willingness to be on the shop floor during critical phases of the program.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of program management experience in the automotive industry.

· Proven track record of managing complex automotive programs from start to finish, including hands-on involvement during launches.

· Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 supplier relationships.

· Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

· PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
